Late nights and long summers behind the bar at the Ketch and Bird & Bettys allowed her to save money and travel in the off-seasons, searching for warmer weather, waves and inspiration for her future shop. 

In 2023 she independently opened Guapo’s Coffee House. Named after her dog that she found in a beach side cafe, somewhere in Costa Rica. 

Guapo’s focuses on those things most important to her-  locally sourced ingredients, organic options and of course, community. Guapo’s has quickly become a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike. A place where caffeine, ideas and talk to the waves flow freely.
